  • Grass fed beef contains Vitamin D3; mainstream beef does not

Do you take Vitamin D? I generally recommend starting with 2000-5000 IU of Vitamin D3 per day. Check your blood levels every three months, adjusting the dose as needed. The goal level of Vitamin D should be 50-75 nmol/L.

    Have you done any research into the effects of Vitamin D on sleep disorders? I read that it’s a counterpart to melatonin and should be taken in the morning for optimal sleep.

    • That is indeed true. I’ve done extensive research on Vitamin D’s role in neurotransmitter balancing and sleep cycles. It isn’t always the sole item necessary to restore sleep, but it often plays a part. Kudos to you for doing such great research!

    Hi Pamela,
    Started taking Vitamin D2 1.25 mg (50,000 units) last Friday, once a week for 3 months. Then we check again. One positive outcome already is that my tongue doesn’t hurt as much. Looking forward to other health issues disappearing. Thanks again for this article, and for working so hard to make us all healthier and happier!
